Many people have been asking it for a while and after the Super Bowl 45 performance by the Black Eye Peas even more are asking – is Fergie Pregnant?
Everyone noticed that she seems to have packed on a bit more belly weight in tonights performance on stage during half time. After the game there were thousands of Tweets and Facebook messages asking is Fergie pregnant.
We’ve all been wondering and now more than ever we really want to know. All of her loyal fans have stuck by her and even though everyone is asking is Fergie pregnant she hasn’t mentioned a thing about it in the least.

Celebrity gossip websites and news channels alike have all brought up gossip about whether or not Fergie is pregnant but not much has come of it just yet.

It’s been rumored for months now that she is but no official statement has come out to confirm or discredit the theory. If Fergie is pregnant, why is she trying to hide it? There’s no way of knowing but something is sure to come up.
After the Super Bowl half time show we are positive there will be some response from Fergie regarding all of the “is Fergie pregnant” questions that have popped up all over Twitter and Facebook.
Surely she won’t let her fans out of the news! Aside from the rumors and gossip the Black Eyed Peas did put on a great show tonight with Slash and Usher and Fergie did a superb job, especially if she is pregnant!

The influence that celebrities have on the average person is phenomenal. Many young girls especially want so much to look just like their favorite star they go as far as starving themselves. Stars can have negative influence as well as positive. When stars get arrested for drugs or alcohol it sends a message that this is cool and many young people try the same thing, but with much different results. They don’t get special treatment like stars do and sometimes their lives are irreparably damaged. Many celebrities have failed marriages and relationships and this also sends a message to the average person that marriage is not something that lasts. When a celebrity just gets tired of one partner they find another. I think we as “normal” people think our lives are boring and uneventful compared to a celebrity and so we try to do what they do and find total unhappiness.

There are entire shows on TV that are geared toward criticizing what the celebrities are wearing to the Oscars or Emmy’s. We see the stars wearing jewels worth millions and one of a kind gowns that are usualy reserved for fairy princesses. We then go to our closet and see a couple of ordinary dresses, a lot of old jeans and sweats and feel ungrateful and unhappy. This can make the average person feel resentful and jealous. Our culture puts these stars on pedestals and we compare their lives to ours and that is unrealistic.

Many people actually get into incredible debt trying to look like a celebrity. Many people even have plastic surgery to make themselves look like their favorite star. One evening gossip shows demonstrates how to look like a celebrity on a budget because they know we all want the look the stars have. They show the celebrity all dressed up and take the outfit apart piece by piece and show you how and where you can get the same look for less. Many people take that seriously and get into debt trying to look the way the stars do.

Another influence celebrities have on our culture is that of invading ones privacy. Nothing is sacred anymore. The paparazzi follow their every move and that seems to invade their right to privacy. I think that is a bad thing to be teaching our children. There is also the danger aspect of racing to follow a star and causing accidents. The paparazzi seem to be willing to risk anything to get a picture, which is a negative influence for our culture. Their is also the special treatment mentioned earlier. Stars are somehow thought of better than a bum in the street, but we are all entitled to the same rights and freedoms. I think that causes anger in our culture.

Celebrities have incredible influence today in our world. They seem to be royalty in this country and we love to watch their every move. I think it makes our lives seem a little less boring. We need to be careful not to make them perfect, because they will fall and when that does happen many people will become disillusioned and possibly even depressed.

It seems that the gambling habit can affect anybody! Celebrity players have been spotted all over Las Vegas in the run up to this years WSOP – some happier to be spotted betting on the turn of a card than others!

Like these back up singer, guitarist of the pop punk, alternative rock band “Good Charlotte”,a record producer, a DJ an actor and a good poker player, Benji Madden.

Benji Madden was spotted playing poker at the 7th Annual World Poker Tournament Invitational in Los Angeles’ Commerce Casino. Benji Madden by passed the red carpet but was seated smack in front of the entrance to the tourney, too bad for the press-shy guy.

The celebrities poured in last night at the 7th annual World Poker Tour Invitation last February 28, 2009. Some Celebrities sighted where Joel Madden, Nicky Hilton, Marlon Wayans, Mekhi Phifer, Don Cheadle, Ray Romano, Brad Garrett, Joel Madden, Benji Madden, Nicky Hilton, Jon Hamm, Michael Vartan, Jennifer Tilly, Oliver Hudson, Danny Masterson, Camryn Manheim, supermodel Helena Houdova, Jose Canseco, Ricki Lake, Marlon Wayans, Shannon Elizabeth, Tia Carrere, Lou Diamond Philips, Vanessa Branch and Shanna Moekler were among the many celebrities at the tables trying their hand against poker pros like Mike Matusow, Mike Sexton, Phil Laak, Antonio Esfandiari, Chip Jett, Andy Bloch, Gavin Smith, Jaime Gold and Erik Seidel.

Benji Madden also showed up in the Ante Up For Africa Europe Celebrity Charity Poker Tournament. Threatening to make this important fundraiser a standing-room-only celebrity festivity.

The charity event held in conjunction with the PokerStars European Poker Tour Grand Final in Monte Carlo, and started at 6pm last April 27th at the Sporting Casino in Monte Carlo, the night before poker action in the Grand Final begins.

Benji also joined in the Sundance Poker Festival together with his twin brother Joel Madden, Shannon Elizabeth, Gina Gershon, Kevin Smith, Emile Hersch, Good Charlotte’s Benji and Joel Madden, Dave Navarro, Lance Bass, DJ AM, Summer Altice, Anne Heche, and poker pros Annie Duke, Phil Gordon, Phil “the Unabomber” Laak, and Antonio “the Magician” Esfandiari, to name a few. The crowd was watching us play in a huge white tent, with a DJ and with video monitors covering the action.

He also arrives at the BosPoker.com $100,000 Celebrity Poker Tournament at a private residence on September 9, 2005 in Los Angeles, California.

Another is the 3rd Annual Stars and Strikes Celebrity Bowling and Poker Tournament with his twin brother Joel Madden in Studio City, Las Angeles last March 5 2009.

The event was for raising funds and awareness for A Place Called Home, a locally based non-profit youth center that provides opportunities for education, counseling, free meals, and arts education to thousands of at-risk children living in South Los Angeles.

Dozens of celebrities came out to the event, including Wilmer Valderrama, Crews & Tequan Richmond of the CW’s Everybody Hates Chris, Keke Palmer of True Jackson; all the Laker Girls and more. The event consisted of a professional level No-Limit Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament hosted by the “Dealer Dolls” and World Series of Poker Championship dealer Jolyn Haviland. Tere was also dancing, bowling, a raffle and a silent auction.

It looks the event was a lot of fun and raised quite a bit of money for an important cause.

This article is all about my experience working and building a friendship with Niki Buzz, the legendary guitar player from Vendetta and M-80. I have had the plessure of working with Niki for some years now and I can honestly say this friend of mine changed my life completely.
Why should you read all this? Well if you are interested in learning how to become a real musician and when you are ready for some life changing lessons, I suggest you stick around for a while.
This article will be part of a series of articles about Niki Buzz, The Niki Buzz Band, the book Niki is writing at the moment and other related topics on this legendary musician.
Let me start with the moment I met Niki at a rehearsal studio near Amsterdam. A mutual friend invited me to meet Niki for an audition and I remember the first time I shook his hand like it was yesterday. A little green japanese car stops in front of me en out comes this man dressed like a rock star with dreads, boots and a cowboy hat ready to walk to the stage and do a show. Now that’s a first impression you will never forget! A little intimidating even.
And before I am good and ready to walk up to him, he turns to me with a big smile and says to me like only americans can: “Hey man, how are you doin’?” He shakes my hand and all I could say was: “I am good, I really like your music man!”
Now you have to understand that I had been rehearsing his blues album for a week, ready to kick ass at this audition. And listening to his music, readlng a little bit about his background and who Niki was, I expected to meet an artist like I was used to in The Netherlands. A little arrogant, not to friendly and to some extend even rude.
Man was I wrong there. This guy was easy to talk to and he gave me the feeling that he was glad to meet me to! That turned out to be my first lesson of many that I learned from Niki. I had never met an american musician before and because of his overwhelming background I thought I was in for the toughest audition ever.
Nothing was further from the truth. After setting up our gear and plugging in, we played a couple songs and by the time we finished playing Anna Lee he looked at me and said: “This can work, you’re in.”
I will talk about my experiences preparing for the live shows with Niki in a later article. But all I want to say for now, is that after this audition I was up for a ride! I have learned to play bass, listen to music and play like a professional musician the legendary way. How? With focuss, determination and absolute devotion to learn from someone who knows.
Now after a couple of years I know that this did not only apply to my musical career. I have been in situations with Niki where I learned to look through different eyes and develop a totally new view of the world we live in. I have been introduced to spirituality, religion, friendship and the truth.
I am lucky to have met this great friend, teacher, artist and musician and I would like to take you on a trip with me by writing about the experiences we have had and will have in the near future. I promiss you that you will be entertained, astonished, flabergasted and completely amazed with what you are about to read and hear in the next couple of articles.
