All brides, even celebrity brides, obsess about weddings leading up to their own. So of course Miranda Lambert is no different. She got up last Friday (April 29) morning to watch Prince William officially become the honey bee to his honeysuckle Kate Middleton. And Lambert told CMT Radio that she wants her wedding to be kind of the same.
“Ours is so different, obviously. But, I think it was gorgeous,” she said of the royal nuptials. “Just the wow factor of the royal wedding was, you know, every bride wants a wow factor and even though ours won’t be in a palace or with 1,500 guests, I still hope that it has that same wow factor.” She may be counting on country singer Neal McCoy to bring the wow, as he’s been confirmed as the entertainment for the reception at her May 14 marriage to Blake Shelton.

Washington, D.C., May 1′ Acquisition of a 20 per cent absorption in Hawaiian Airlines, Ltd., by Transcontinental and Western Air Inc., for a application in balance of $300,000 was appear accordingly today by Jack Frye, admiral of TWA and Stanley C. Kennedy, admiral of Hawaiian Airlines, Ltd.
The Hawaiian company, which furnishes passenger, mail and freight service to the Hawaiian Islands abercrombie outlet , has an application pending before the civil aeronautics board for a route between Honolulu and the mainland.
Simultaneously, Mr. Frye announced that TWA is withdrawing its pending application for a certificated route from California to Hawaii.
Hawaiian Airlines, like TACA airlines in South and Central America, in which TWA recently bought a 381?2 per cent interest, is a major air freight and express carrier.
The civil aeronautics journal reports that in January, Hawaiian Airlines, ranked fourth among America’s domestic airlines in carriage of express and air freight, having a total poundage for the month of 514,775 pounds.
According to Mr. Kennedy, who is also president of the Inter-Island Steam Navigation Co., this firm proposes to divest itself of its control to avoid any problems created by such ownership in relation to the extension of Hawaiian Airlines’ services to the Pacific coast.
The agreement, he said, calls for such action as promptly as possible after receipt of certificate to permit service to the west coast.
